Dr. Y.J. Kim This page was designed in the memory of Dr. Y. J. Kim our dearest friend, brother and co-worker. We met in the summer of 1983 when YJ was an undergraduate student in Material Science and Engineering Department, University of Wisconsin-Madison. Since then we shared almost everything and respected each other until his untimely death in 1998 while he was serving as a young and the most energetic professor in POSTECH. He pioneered containerless melting process while he was working as a research associate in Caltech / JPL. Most of all, we shared the same belief and we tried to understand God and ourselves through the Words. We still can feel him standing beside us wearing his favorite dark shades and smile. "YJ, miss you. Until we see you again...."
